Tatkarma yann bandhaya sa vidya ya vimuktaye. Aayasayaparam karma vidyanya shilpaanipunam. – Shri Vishnupuran That is, that which does not create bondage is karma and that which paves the way for liberation is vidya. The rest of the karma is hard work and other methods are just art and skill. Indian sages and wise men have called knowledge (vidya) as the means of liberation of man. Man has desired freedom from fear, hunger, bad habits, bad habits, bad conduct, weakness, poverty and inferiority, disease and grief since time immemorial. The above mahavaky of Shri Vishnupuran gives us the message that man should make efforts to get freedom from all his sufferings through knowledge. Vidya is the fruit of sacrifice and penance, that is why the attainment of knowledge is always laborious. Come, let us all try our best to acquire knowledge by being disciplined and with a dedicated spirit, using all the available resources in a dignified manner. By including proper diet, exercise and thoughts in your daily routine, make the infinite possibilities given by nature as a person flourish and blossom in the light of the sacred energy of knowledge. We all recite this sutra from Taitriya Upanishad of Krishna Yajurveda every day in the morning prayer meeting in our schools: - Om Saha Navavatu Saha Nau Bhunaktu, Saha Viryam Karvaavahai. Tejasvi Navadhitamtsu Ma Vidvishavhai, Om ShantiH ShantiH ShantiH. Come, let us understand the great message hidden in this sutra and assimilate it in our life and do our daily work. I convey my heartfelt best wishes to all the officers, principals, teachers, students and staff of Delhi Division and wish a successful and happy future for all.
